Accounts Payable Technician
Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Prepare and input vendor invoices for payment into accounting system, utilizing standardized policies and procedures, insuring appropriate support for payments are included.
Process, enter and codes travel advances and reimbursements.
Review supporting documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Scan all vouchers to online document storage and maintain vendor files.
Monitor accounts payable accounts to ensure timely payment.
Prepare weekly cash reports and print checks.
Reconcile Employee P-card statements & receipts
Reconcile AP Accounts
Other duties as assigned.
Interact with personnel in multiple locations via phone or email.
Required Education and Experience:
2 years of Accounts Payable experience required
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision to complete tasks in a timely basis
At least an intermediate understanding of Microsoft office suite
Preferred Education and Experience
Associations degree with emphasis in accounting or business
Office 365 experience, to include Sharepoint
