Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate programs. You will provide strategic guidance to various support teams and on-site leads in ways that promote the company’s culture. You will also oversee the progress of operations and performance on the projects that you will be responsible for.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.

The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization. Duties will include:

  • Direct and review the work of all personnel each workday to ensure compliance with standards and operating procedures and the requirements of this contract.

  • Direct the various support services required.

  • Recommend new or proposed revisions, as appropriate, to guidelines and instructions to ensure efficient and effective operations.

  • Provide on-the-job training in methods and procedures to newly assigned staff, and develop visual aids, as required, to promote operational efficiency.

  • Direct data gathering for various productivity reports, and conduct internal surveys as required.

  • Resolve working level complaints and/or problems, resolve all other operational problems within the scope of this contract, and prepare responses within established timeframes to all written service complaints received.

  • Institute system changes to accommodate increased workload and organizational changes.

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, monitor the work produced under this contract, and initiate corrective actions to ensure conformance with established standards and procedures.

  • Review and update, on a semiannual basis, individual task orders issued under this contract to reflect changes in work methods, standards, and operating procedures.

Required Skills

  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.

  • Must possess and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance

  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of support services functions, including:

  • Administrative Assistant support services

  • Media Support Services, including, but not limited to photography, graphics, video, printing and duplication, and digitization.

  • Professional Support Services, including, but not limited to Human Resources support, financial management support, information management, records management, communication support, public affairs and outreach, education, technology transfer, acquisition and contract management support, and export control.

Required Experience

  • Must have ten (10) years specialized experience that includes: proven expertise in the supervision, management and control of time-sensitive, service-oriented functions, funds and resources; demonstrated ability to manage multi-task information systems projects.

  • Within the ten (10) years specialized experience, shall have five (5) years progressive experience as a senior-level manager of a technical, computer-oriented work force of at least fifty (50) people working through at least two (2) levels of supervision.

  • PMP certification preferred

  • National Guard Bureau and Department of Defense experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management, Business Administration, or related field is required.
