Job Description

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The Curriculum Developer will work within the Department of State / INL Program in Mexico City to develop curriculum for the Polygraph Inconclusive Results training course. The course contents will meet the following technical training objectives:

  • Polygraphist responsibility in inconclusive results

  • Recognition of problem

  • Common mistakes / faults

  • Inconclusive results and steps of analysis

  • Liability in the individual to be evaluated

  • Identification and implementation of change

  • Common mistakes / reasons that lead to inconclusive results

  • Strategies before the polygraph test

  • Quality in closing out the interview

  • Development of test questions

  • Accredited polygraph techniques

  • Charts review

Required Skills

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must possess a minimum five years of experience in the design and development of curriculum content, training materials, training modules, and teaching aids.

  • Must have experience designing face-to-face training lesson plans and e-learning syllabus.

  • Desirable experience working as Instructional designer in Law enforcement organizations or government institutions.

  • Advanced Spanish level.

  • Excellent Spanish spelling and writing

  • Desirable: certified in the Instructional design competency or as Instructional designer (such as “CONOCER” Mexican Standard).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design or Educational Psychology preferred.
