Job Description

Program Manager/On-site representative for a diverse project encompassing the operations of facilities maintenance, warehousing, fleets/mechanics and administrative support. Serves as the interface between the customer representative and contract personnel. Ensures tasks are completed with the highest standards of quality and best in class customer services.

The Program Manager functions as the technical leader, manager and coordinator of all personnel and resources to complete projects. The Program Manager/On-site representative manages programs directly or through supervision of subordinates and is responsible for all aspects of program management. Principle duties and responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for overall contract performance

  • Meets with the customer representative and provides weekly updates on work completed and on the progress of any ongoing projects.

  • Resolves personnel issues/problems and ensures training, certifications, licenses, and any other deadlines are up to date.

  • Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensations actions; and enforcing policies and procedures.

  • Ensures all individual performance requirements are met/fulfilled.

  • Reports all issues to the appropriate customer representative.

Required Skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with other team members

  • Exhibit excellent oral and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION

  • Two-year degree

  • Five to Seven (5 - 7) years’ of experience in logistics management or related field

LANGUAGE

  • Fluency in English

SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess a current and valid U.S. Driver’s License

Required Experience

  • Experience managing a staff of professional and/or technical personnel

  • Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, with the ability to write reports.
