Job Description

Provide digital conversion of data stored at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA using scanning equipment and software provided. Data will be converted into JEDMICS compliant image formats.

This position works under close supervision and follows specific procedures or detailed instructions. The Data Entry Operator works from various standardized source documents that have been coded and require little or no selecting, coding or interpreting of data. Problems such as erroneous items and codes, or missing information are resolved at the supervisory level. Work is routine and repetitive.

Typical assignments include:

  • Data entry for the NAVAIR CMIS SCRs, ASRs, and MSRs repository.

  • Review, collate, transpose, and convert rework data from SRCs, ASRs, MSRs, and other source data and provide data entry to NAVAIR CMIS.

  • Provide timely and accurate data entry to NAVAIR CMIS to include, but not limited to, data entry and integrity system reporting and data retrieval.

Education:

High School diploma or GED

Experience:

Adequate experience performing the duties of the position described under Job Description.

Security Clearance REQUIRED: Must already possess and be able to maintain, at minimum a SECRET security clearance.

Must have extreme attention to detail

Must be able to follow established instructions and processes

Must be able to meet established performance metrics

Must be reliable and able to consistently work 40 hours per week

Must be able to work flex schedule of Monday – Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm (with every other Friday off)

Must be an U.S. Citizen
