Computer Systems Analyst I
Carries out fact finding and analyses as assigned, (usually of a single activity or a routine problem); applies established procedures where the nature of the system, feasibility, computer equipment and programming language have already been decided; may assist a higher level systems analyst by preparing the detailed specifications required by computer programmers from information developed by the higher level analyst, and may research routine user problems and solve them by modifying the existing system when the solutions follow clear precedents. When cost and deadline estimates are required, results receive closer review. The supervisor defines objectives, priorities, and deadlines. Incumbents work independently; adapt guides to specific situations; resolve problems and deviations according to established practices; and obtain advice where precedents are unclear or not available. Completed work is reviewed for conformance to requirements, timeliness, and efficiency. This position may supervise technicians and others who assist in specific assignments. Work at a level above this is deemed Supervisory or Individual Contributor.

This position is in support of a Web Application. The qualified candidate will join the software development team in the Tester Role.
Seeking a qualified Testing and QA applicant who is familiar with modern testing practices, processes and tools.
Candidate should be familiar with reading, gathering and dissecting business requirements, writing test cases and use cases that can be tested manually and through automated scripts.
The qualified individual should be familiar with Microsoft Technologies, Web application development/testing, windows application development/testing and web services.
Individual should be familiar with SCRUM or other Software Development Lifecycle process.
May assist with setting website standards and keeping developers aligned to those standards.
The candidate will be involved in the quality assurance stage of coding development and deployment.
The candidate will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Assessing code will be an important function of the job.
The candidate’s role will vary depending on project requirements. They may join a project at the initial implementation stages to assess potential risks, or be brought on to a project midway through, when testing becomes a key requirement.
Familiarity with government systems, database, procedures, etc. is a plus.
Must have good communication skills.
Must have superior organization skills.
Must be able to work in a team and as an individual with minimal direction.
High School diploma or GED; Vocational training commensurate with Department of Labor functional description.
